Biotest Hot Rox is supposedly the most effective new fat burner on the market, claiming to target fat and maintain or even build muscle in the process. Is this effective, or should I just go ahead with taking Lean System 7? Here is the link to Hot Rox:

The best fat burner is a well constructed diet ane exercise program. I know this is not what you want to hear, but fat burners are about as good as get big supplements, if not worse. As big and bold as the claims are for these, they are the same for fat burners, but neither really do much. It all comes down to diet and exercise. Calories in versus calories out.-------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

tenor, I tried Hot Rox and I didn't feel any effects on me... bb1fit is once again correct, a good diet and exercise program will help you decrease your BF%.
Save your money, that's my advice. Hope this helps. -r. |

In the past I have tried: Xenadrine with and without Ephedra, Ripped Fuel and I can tell you they did not work for me I did not lose my stomach. Even after going through a couple bottles of each and working out 5-6 days a week. I am now dieting and I started this weekend so we will see how it goes. I am having a high protein low fat diet and enough carbs to get me through the day. Oh and lots of water.

OK. Seeing that most people seem to be discouraging fat burners, I will steer clear of them, despite my wishes to utilize whatever potential they may have. I trust that if the people here say its a waste, then it is. So, then what can I do? I wan to add muscle while burning fat. I know people say its not possible, but if Im 190 lbs., can't I replace 10 pounds of fat with 10 pounds of muscle, if its all based on calories anyway? Are there any supplements that can help target fat in weight lossand maintain/build muscle? Creatine?... Andro?... Crack?... Anything?? Ive tried this a million times and I never add any muscle, I never burn the fat, Ive tried each seperately with no results. Im lost. Ive tried low carb and lots of healthy fats. Ive tried healthy carb. Always high protein. I just don't know where to go from here. I think I need a supplement to get it going. Im more interested in losing my gut than anything, but woyuld really like to continue on the muscle building path in the meanwhile. Please, any suggestions???

i read you last entry properly... so thought a couple of natural ideas might help. but portion control is everybodies lie i think. so ideas;
grapefruit and caffeine are suppossed to stimulate metabolism naturally(hey just a little, unnoticable maybe) pick atkins friendly veg, brocoli,tomatoes,strawberries, celery.... watch for the lean meats/eat fish/chicken.... always have a breakfast.. write and plan everything you eat or exercise at. do a diary, know what is in you body. have the food readily available, plan shopping.have five+ fruits and veg all different colours daily. write down what you eat that was not right to eat- punish yourself with extra cardio or a hated thing like pull ups or dips. |

I find my best fat burner is to stop telling myself lies. Like I run off about 500 calories- yeh right, I run and might push 350 or sometimes 500 but it aint consistent. Then I eat 300grams of muesli- Again if I saw only 300grams in my large bowl I'd need a magnifier, I honestly reckon my 300 grams is more like 600 or at times 800grams plus 1/2 a pint of skim milk... 1/2 a pint, I make myself laugh now, 1/2 a pint wouldn't wet my portion of muesli!!!
So yeh, BB1fit again is so right. But I do have a balanced diet, it's just a very heavy portion size that's my downfall |

I was on ephedra and I got a lot of results, but could have killed myself (litterally) in the process. I dropped from 130# to about 102# in about 3 months, and that is NOT healthy. I was working out and dieting (unintentional dieting) I guess the stimulants (ephedra for me anyhow) was like the well known "coke" diets. Your heart rate speeds up so much it could ad power to a car, and you go go go go go go for hours which in itself is what burns the fat. Those that work are NOT healthy, and remember that hard work pays off more than risking your health and life. Good luck. If you need the stimulation, for energy, as long as you are eating well, and NOT allergic to ceffiene, have a coffee (or tea) (NO CREAM UNLESS IT IS FAT FREE, AND WATCH THAT SUGER TOO)

Yeah, but is there anything that helps target fat while working for it? I mean, I eat healthy and those last five pounds of fat are impossible to lose. There are so many approaches people swear by, its hard to know what to do, especially seeing that Ive tried them all. Im talking about low carb; moderate healthy carb; low calorie etc. I work, but I need something to target fat to assist me. Anything?

ALL FATBURNERS ARE A WASTE OF MONEY.
they make you loose water and stuff for a perod of time so you fill like you are really cutting while you are training. stop taking them and you will be as you where before taking them. as BB1FIT said, diet, hard exercise and cardio. :(:( kakroto |

I ran out of Xenadrine today. Thanks for reminding me that it's a waste of money so I won't buy me any more. I already eat healthy so gotta just be consistent with working out. Like my boyfriend says about me taking Xenadrine, is that it's a placebo for me and that it's all in the mind. Thanks you guys for reminding me of the achievement felt after being successful - I'll give credit to where it's due and it's not going to be in a bottle!

You must create a caloric deficit to tap into your fat stores! This can come from dietary calorie cuts, or calorie burn from exercise, or a combination of the two. Intelligently done, you cannot do anything but achieve your goals.
