i was steadily gaining 3-5 lbs a week, but the last 2-3 weeks i've been stuck at 198-200 lbs, any suggestions on how to get by my slump would be greatly appreciated. thnxs. i've been taking whey protien and amino acids
It is natural to experience a plateau. The answer is to change a few things. Change you work-out and the intensity. Also change your diet. If you have been high protein then add some complex carbs for a few days. If you have been doing that then go high protein a few days. Also Zig Zag your calories. Our body adapts very easily. So when ever you get Stuck do this.
Variety! Swith up your excercices, the order in which you perform them, the rest time in between them, the sets-reps, or try some princibles like supersets and things like that. You also might want to check out your diet and sleep. Best of luck. -Sweeny (bodybuilder & Athlete)
