I hate roaches myself, but am deathly afraid of spiders, even the lil bitty ones ill shreik like a girl, lol. With that being said guess what i just so happen to come upon the other day here in sand hell, yep a big a** camel spider, they say theyll chase you and jump on you to bite you but this one didnt have the chance since i ran and jumped in the truck and rolled the windows up as soon as i saw it. lol still getting laughed at for that one. but sry for the roach nemisis howdie.

i would like to say that sunday afternoon i was late to work because a cockroach decided to set up shop in my favorite vintage polo shirt. it tried to kill me, but i prevailed.
this is significant because i am deathly afraid of roaches. thus, when i saw it waving its antennae at me i almost lost consciousnes because i became so light-headed. after planning and executing my attack, i was hyperventilating from anxiety. so when i say it was a death match, it really was because the roach almost killed me. tonight i will undoubtedly have nightmares. -------------- i wish you ill, ice-t. margarine is a liar who announces, \"i am butter!\" |

glad to hear you triumphed in your deathmatch. I would advocate use of a very, very big bat but it might spoil a polo shirt so I would stick with sprayin them to death!

You can tie a string around his neck and tie the other end to a chair. That'll keep him out of your shirt.-------------- Foolish consistancies are the hobgoblins of small minds. Charlie | |

i say tie one end around his neck, find a stray cat and dangle him there for interrogation as to where his secret lair is. That cat will do all the torturing if the roach doesn't talk.

do you know that a cockroach can live without its head for quite some time actually. so that thing is gonna keep wiggling about even with the string around it's neck. -------------- The best victories are won not by adversity and brute force. I am not advocating cockroach torture. If I were I'd suggest a magnifying glass and bright sunlight.

I wonder who decided to name them "cockroaches"? Seems like they could have come up with something a little more indicative of their annoying existance...

I hate flying cockroaches..they have this really icky smell, and when you kill em *splat*..the stink is even worst. I think a guy named a cockroach...okay. uhm. nevermind. I will not comment.

speaking of the splatting, the one i killed did splat all over the wall when i smashed it. it was still alive afterward. that was very disheartening. i like to think i swing a mean loafer.-------------- i wish you ill, ice-t. margarine is a liar who announces, \"i am butter!\" |

Yep - we lived on a wooded lot. And one day, rainy at that, I decided I would go hit the tanning bed. Sitting there at a light in my bright pink raincoat..waiting for the light to change...........out of the corner of my eye....I see something about my upper chest level...I look down...........I freak...........a big ol wood roach there looking at me. T.G. no one was in front of me...because I jumped............and it jumped off of me........running around in the truck....euuuuh...so off to the car wash sweeper thing I went................hoping that dang thing would go thru the vacuum.....YEAH....I actually could hear it thumping thru the tube...so gross! But alas - it was not in the car...no more or on me!

OHHH, howdiekat..did I tell you I lived in Manhatten in my late teens?
I thought my roommatees were playng a joke on me when I noticed that the clock on the back of the stove was full of roaches - but then I noticed that some were stil wriggling..aighhh! We had a chart up on the wall for 'kills' and method of kills (hammer, shoe, ohh hand (very brave), wok, on occasion). God, how I hate those nasty beasts. I was on the bus one day, heading to lower east side, and I observed a cockroach climb into a man's pocket right before the man got off the bus. How did the roach know he was getting off at his stop?? (and you know that from that point on i checked my pockets before going home!!) OOOOh, they are evil! The biggest roaches I have ever seen were at 6 flags in texas. They coated the underside of the archway to a 'scary' ride. let me tell you, it took more nerves to walk under that archway full of giant, flying cockroaches than to go on the death-defying ride!!!! I feel your pain, get a hamer and wreak vengeance. are you talking about the judge roy scream? we have the worst roach problem in the world here in texas. i could hardly sleep the other night thinking one was going to crawl on me. i shudder at the thought.
i have only had to kill 3 since i've been in my apartment, but i really was on the verge of suffocation the other day - and i DO NOT GET SCARED by that type of thing. i am going to start keeping 45lb plates around and just dumping them on the little bastards. that'll show em. -------------- i wish you ill, ice-t. margarine is a liar who announces, \"i am butter!\" |

start rating style points too, like if you're bored you could get creative with the killings. Hook one with a fishhook and hang him in the center of the room. orr do a flip half twist and finish with your shoe on him. make a game out of it.
