First of all, I'm so glad I found this site. I was looking for some Ellington Darden books and found this. My question is.. I have no problem walking or riding my bike as long as I'm on level ground BUT I have great difficulty on uphills of any degree of incline to the point of feeling exhausted even after a 1/4 of a mile. My legs hurt, heartrate goes up, I sweat like crazy and feel like crap. I've just started a strength training program and all basically I've been doing is walking and cycling. Just wondering if it's because my legs are too weak and will I see a difference on inclines after I've got some more muscle in my legs. I'm 53 and have been walking/cycling for a year. Thanksssss for ANY help as I start this exciting journey.
