....I work out 3-4 times a week depending on my shedule. I follow the workout routine here for the most part. I make sure to rest my muscles for at least 4-5 days before working them out again as everyone here says. But I have noticed when working out that every muscle is at least a little sore and tight the next day. That feeling makes me feel like I accomplished something the day before, so I rest the muscle for a little under a week before doing it again and have noticed decent gains in the time so far. When it comes to biceps though, my arms are usually sore right when I am done working out and maybe for the next 2-3 hours, but after that it feels like I barely even worked them out when I pushed myself as hard as I could in the gym. The next day they feel like i didnt even work out at all. This leads me to believe that I am either doing something wrong or there is somethign wrong with me. Any suggestions or advice would be great thanks.

I think diferent muscle groups take longer to recover then others. For example your Legs will take longer than your biceps. Because of the size of the muscle. But feelng completely recovered in as little as 4 hours, that is strange. But I usually feel like I can workout my Arms every 3 days, then everything else every 4 days. Its just the way my body feels, use your best judgement.

Dont be fooled by soreness. My smaller muscles like bi's and tri's dont get sore very often unless I am doing some extreme strength training. You still need the days off for them to recover and grow just because they are not sore does not mean they are tired. Remember on back days you are still working your bi's and on chest days you are still hitting your Tri's So those small muscles get plenty of work. But of course smaller muscles take less time to recover. Legs should never be trainined more than once a week OUCH!!
