I'm pretty new to this but as I understand you click on the day. Then click on add meal then click on add food and then click on adding foods to your list & just build up the list of the foods you eat the most. You then choose from these foods and add them to your meals and at the end of the day the computer analyses what vitamins/minerals/fat/protein/carbs etc. are in it & what your balance is like in what you are eating. At first I thought you'd get a prescribed diet but it doesn't seem to work like that. You list your food & the computer tells you the nutritional content. You choose from the list & I think to add your own more unusual foods you have to upgrade your membership but not sure as I've only got the basic.
I hope this makes sense as I feel like I'm still learning myself.

i haven't done it for a while but when i did the results are awesome.. as long as you pick foods pretty close to your actual intake- i mean don't lie to yourself about your eating habits or choose say salmon when you only eat cod... after a week you can see an overall picture of 'if' you are getting anything like what you should be in mineral/protein the lot!
do do it. you will see so much and learn the same. like me i've learnt to be remove the egg yolk from time to time as in fat it makes such a difference, same as removing the skin off a chicken leg.
