bb1,
Asking this on the board so others can share from the wealth of blending oats. I know this sounds really stupid, but how do you get the quick oats to blend so they don't make the texture of the shake hard to deal with? I'm one of those types who can't stand pulp in his orange juice. I do have a food processor, but not willing to waste a shake trying without knowing first :).

Grind it dry, before you add the wet stuff. Shake the blender as you puree it

I simply pour my fluid in the blender, dump my oats and my protein in, and blend on a high speed for about 2-3 minutes. When it is done, it is very difficult to tell there is anything in there at all.

I don't think my blender is that good =). I'll try doing them dry first, then putting the liquids in and then leave it go for 2-3 minutes. Thanks for the response charlie and bb1. If I haven't said it before, your help has been and continues to be greatly appreciated.
