I have just joined FT and have alot of questions. My main problem is finding exercises I can do. Going to the gym gets me looks from the trainers after I explain my physical disabilities to them. Every trainer I have talked to seems to be at a loss for exercises I can do safely. I need to lose weight as my biggest fear is that between my weight and injuries I will be in a wheelchair before long if I don't do something. I have damaged both ankles, both knees, my lower back, frozen 5 vertibre in my neck and have carple tunnels and tendenitus in both wrists. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The only safe thing I can recomend to you, is to have a session with a sports therapist in your area. This can prove to be very beneficial.
