If you are talking post-workout, you need fast absorbing proteins and simple carbs. Do a search in fitBuddy for "postworkout" or "post-workout" or "PWO". This topic has been discussed very intensely through the years. Also look at "Supplements - Latest Research and Use" message board. It has a PinUp post at the top that talks about post-workout combinations specifically.
