i have been living almost exclusively on dishes consisting of black beans and brown rice for the past 2 weeks. tonight, instead of adding ground beef or ground bison to the mix, i used a 7-oz, 50g protein package of tuna. i added some mustard (what else?) to the dish and i must say that it's not bad and it's very inexpensive.
so all of you who are like me and have to save as much as possible but don't want to sacrifice your nutrition, black beans, brown rice, and tuna/extra-lean ground beef/bison/chicken breast can save your wallet and your appetite.
p.s. - for the beef/bison i suggest spicy asian mustard. for the chicken i suggest fat free/reduced fat honey mustard.
