Okay...I know I'm going to get alot of slack for this but I'm still frying my eggs in margarine. I know I should be using cooking oil, but I'm not sure which type is the best. Sometimes I use canola oil, but I'm wondering if there is a type that I can use that is actually healthy rather than 100% fatty garbage. Thanks.

Try using a spray. Better still, boil them.

boiled eggs??? why didn't I think of that haha. How long should you boil them for without losing too much protein?

They won't lose the protein, the time is usually 10 minutes.
try doing a dozen at a time. It's more convenient.

Coconut oil is great(extra virgin is best), some people will immediately talk about the fat, but the fat is almost exclusively MCT's, which can be utilized quickly for energy and are great for you. If you use olive oil which is great also, do not use extra virgin, just regular olive oil, withstand much higher heat(lower smoke point).
You could always just use Pam. It is no calorie and works great.

Ug! Stay away from margarine! You are better off using regular butter. Margarine contains high amounts of trans fats, which the body cannot break down for energy, ever (read the sticky post on hydrogenated oils). A saturated fat is bad, but at least it can be used for energy later on.

Yes I know, I'm definetly going to stop using it. I still use it on bread though and with my Sidekick pasta dishes...remember I'm still a student here so I'm poor haha.
Thanks for all the advice guys, always appreciated.
