ok, i am 5'6' and 167, and im trying to get down to 150 or 145. this is what i usually eat.
breakfast-branflakes cereal w/ skim milk and half banana
snack- yogurt
lunch- sandwich/salad w/olive oil dressing
snack-yogurt/or protein shake
dinner- salad and chicken breast
snack- string cheese/yogurt/or carrots with reduced fat ranch dressing
Now looking at this written down im wondering am i eating enough? i want to lose weight but not starve myself in the process. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
by the way i do cardio 6x a week first thing in the morning and weights 3x a week.

calculate your caloric intake.

i think you have a good meal plan... when i want to lose a few pounds i just cut out all the bad stuff.. for ex i wont have dressing on my salads etc.. or i will watch my fat in take.. it works for me

Your body isn't getting enough good calories. Figure at least 14 calories a lb for a male to reduce, but from what I see, you are not feeding your muscles with enough protein.
Your body is holding on to what is has becuase you are not feeding it.

hmm, so should i include more whole meats like chicken, and fish?

Right on, Chicken (breast) fish (Tuna, sardines, salmon, mackeral) cottage cheese, fruit during the day. Don't starve yourself, don't forget to throw in some walnuts or almonds.

hmmm ok thanks i'' try it, but i always thught that nut had a lot of fat and calories in them, like peanuts?
