Hi, I am gonna start waking up in the morning at 4:15 a.m. and try and get to the gym by 5:00 a.m. I was wondering should I do a protein shake before and then after my workout. Then how long should I wait before my first real meal. Or, drink a shake before workout and then have my first meal after workout? My main goal is to lose weight. My schedule is gonna look like this:

4:15a.m. - wake up
4:30a.m. - protein shake
5:00a.m. - gym
6:15a.m. - protein shake or meal or mrp

then do i space my meals out every 3 1/2 hours? Also, I will be going to bed at 9:00 p.m. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks...
Steve

relaxxxx....

protein shake = only fast proteins, no fats no carbs
mrp = all the stuff, but kind of fast
meal = all the stuff, but slow

so WHAT I DO is after
protein shake ----> i wait 1-1.30 hours
mrp------> 2.30 hours
meal------->3 hours

is 6.15 the latest? cause i was thinking on
4.30- mrp
5.00-gym
6.15-shake
7.00-meal

cause you need fast protein after your workout and a lot of carbs/protein/fat before in order not to lose muscle, not to be fatigued and to rtain better so you gain more muscle

i have now another option. To go to the gym at 8:00p.m. I tried this morning and getting up at 4:15a.m. isnt gonna work. I have to be at work at 9:00 a.m. and get off at 5:00p.m. Id rather go home have dinner then hit the gym around 8:00p.m. This way Im home and can go to be around 11:00p.m. and get a good 8 hours of sleep. So I eat dinner at 5:30p.m. and hit the gym at 8:00p.m. would i need to eat or drink a shake before and after workout? Also would it hurt to do 45 minutes of cardio after my training? I know ths is not a diet question but figured it could get answered.

Thanks for the help...

Have your after workout shake within 30-45 min. No need for one b4 if your having a meal at 5:30 then working out after that. Try and have more food during the , then having supplements though. The cardio after your training is ok, but 45 min seems like alot.
