hey everyone, I remember reading somewhere on here that 12-14 calories per pound of body weight is a good starting point for maintanace. I am 5'10 and about 190lbs. I have been gaining for a year now without any cutting cycles and have noticed the accumulation of fat in that stomach, so now i plan on cutting alot of the fat away to reveal the muscle i've been working a year on. I was wonder if 2300 calories a day is too little for me? I've never tried to loose weight before i've always been trying to put it on and now i've put too much on and now i want a 6-pack and a hard lean body, my other question is i've never really worked abs either and was wondering if i work my abs while cutting with they still build up?

12 calories perlb is minimum. so at 2300 you will be ok.
Eat healthy foods and do a complete body workout, and you will see the abs appear, but focus on what you eat, very important for abs.

couldn't find your post kakroto.
is 2700 calories a day tooo much even if i've never done cardio before and i used to eat around 3000-4000 calories a day I am going i'm trying to stay in the 2300-2400 range but it seems like i'm hungry all the time i'm working in getting used to feeling of not having a completely ful stomach. I want to keep muscle loss at a minimum and fat loss at a maximum. Will going too low in calorie intake cause muscle loss
