Hi, im 5'9 188lbs, two years ago i used to be 215lbs, then last summer i got down to 165lbs, and this year i went up.

im trying to follow the freetrainers program for "fat loss and toning", with 3-4 45min cardio sessions a week.

It says to have 180g protein, and 3000 calories. Isnt that a bit too much? calories, i dont think i can reach that much unless i incorporated a mcds combo in there (gross, hehe), but 180g protein a day? If anyone has any suggestions, i dont think i can eat that much tuna and have that many shakes and chicken in one day.

any suggestions or opinions?

While weight training or any vigourous exercise it is beneficial to have a protein shake after training.
The amount is specified is usually 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight.
It's isn't really that difficult to reach it, or come close.
Your numbers don't have to be exact dead on, but I'm sure you will come close. Don't forget eat 5-6x a day. 2/3 shakes and food will do it.

It is actually very easy to do, if you eat 6 meals per day for instance, 30 gr. of protein per meal is all you need. A can of tuna is 32 gr. for instance. And if you have a good amount post workout, which you should, it is even easier.
