Yesterday I started my second round of using FT to schedule my workouts. In the first one I chose the progressive gains one. This time I chose the mass building one and I'm surprised at how similar they are. The exercises themselves are a little different, but the number of sets and reps isn't very different. I've read all over the place that to build mass you do low reps of high weights.
Is this just how the schedule is at the beginning of the program and it will eventually change over to low reps/high weights?
If not can I just drop the reps and increase the weights following the same exercises?
Also, wanted to do the "big chest" add on but it was grayed out. Is that because I only have access to free weights?
Thanks for your help!

OK, time's up! Gym time!:dumbbell:
I'm just going to decrease the number of reps and increase the weight based on similar exercises from the previous schedule.

sorry CADmonkey, I don't know the answer to your question :(
I think that as long as you're doing 8-12 reps you will be ok

I ended up sticking with sets of 16-20 for the warmup then 8, 6 and 4 reps with higher wts.
Much to my surprise I'm finding I may need to buy more plates.
