Welcome to a new start to school......
And NO I'm not flunking school or anything to that extent, well, it's sorta like this: I don't have a car (Yea, I'm one of those broke 18 year olds that's still trying to beg for money..lol) and so my mom has to drive me (I've got a drivers license.. I'm only missing a car!) to school. There's one school which will take her 45 mins to drive to, this school is also where all my friends are. The other school will only take her 7 mins to drive there, but I'll be a new student... Things get complicated here because my mom doesn't want to drive for 45 mins everyday back and forth, but she doesn;t want me to go to the new school because she thinks the kids there are too "noisy and troublesome". Any1 have a suggestions for which school I should get to?! |

couldn't you catch a lift with your friends - maybe sort out some sort of carpool. to save them coming to pick you up you could maybe bike/walk to a suitable point where they could get you. that way mum's not doing an hour and a half driving twice a day and you get to hang out with your friends

if i were you i would knuckle down at school and invent a teleportation device.
but seriously, i went to a schol where the teachers were the ones that got bullied if you know what i mean, i only went there because i live about 30 seconds away on the same road as it, but i regreted al the way through because there were better ones about 5 and 15 minutes away, so id say that even though it is further away and will cause problems find a way and go to the same one. -------------- guns dont kill people, rappers do call the police, woo woo woo. stay dumb, you know it makes no sense. Well here;s the problem once again... I CAN'T catch a bus because it'd be like a half hr walk to get there and my mom won't agree with that because she's "Scared that some one might abduct me":(
None of my friends live even NEAR where I live.. (All you canadian residents, I think you'll know how far vancouver and rich mond is ) But mi teacher lives near my place... Does anyone think that it'll b a good idea? |

a bloke?! omg plz... I'm a girl, I'm a girl, I'm a girl...
I dunno, but when ure a girl and ure mom worries like mad about u, then you probably can't go anywhere near public transport... Yea I asked my teacher, he said "yea, that's fine with me, be there 8:30 am morning, sharp, waitin for u at the door." My only problem is how to wake up?!?! Now my ONLY teeny tiny problem is that my mom will be out of town for a few weeks, and my teacher won;t b drivin me 2 skool until next week... Do you think it'd b a good idea to take my mom's car even though I havn't been drivin for like... 3 years but I still have a valid car license? (I'm suppose 2 renew it or something every few years) Thanks for all the help!!! |

Yeah take the car, just be careful and maybe if you say to your mum when she comes back "hey guess what i used ure car to get to school and it's still on one piece!" then maybe she will trust you and get you a car?..or ground you for eternity...depends on the parents i guess..my school was about 10 mins from me and through a lovely park in which was nice to wlak to every morning...sadly my school looked and felt like going into a mental hospital :(

grade 7 is the same as first form or first year of high school, down under we just call it year 1 (starting) to year 12 (finishing).
Why isnt your teacher driving to school for a week? Good luck with the car |

O and about the grade and year thing, in america and canada(the american standard for grades and stuff like that) they say grades but in England, Scotland they say year, except In america you could be 11-12 and ure probably in grade 6, but in scotland, ure probably like year 7. but ure still 11-12. Thanks for all the help pples! |
