1. On bulking and cutting phases - how long should you bulk before starting to cut?
2. PWO Shake - I have ready BB1's recommendation of mixing dextrose and malto 50/50 into your pwo protein shake. Question is how much - teaspoon of each or what?

1. For bulking i'd say 8-12 weeks, or till you notice too much fat accumulation. You can then cut to keep the love handles at bay and get rid of some of the extra fat you put on from bulking then go back to your bulking cycle. I'd say to cut for 4-8 weeks.
2. 1 teaspoon of dextrose is about 4g i believe. Not too sure about malto. It should say on the package what the serving size is.

Bulking is when you consume more calories than you expend of good clean foods to put on weight muscle mostly is the goal here but you can't put muscle on without putting fat on. And cutting is when you expend more calories than what you take in, the goal here is to loose the fat you put on during your bulking cycle and exposing the muscle you on. But just as you put fat on while you gain musle you will loose muscle while you loose fat, the goal is to lessen the loss of muscle with a very clean diet.
