Last week I weighed 134lbs. This week I weigh 136.5lbs. Is that normal? I know it's not fat because I have hockey conditioning, i am very active and i do cardio. 2.5lbs of muscle in one week?

And I have a question about abs. I read somewhere that working your abs hard makes them stick out a lot and makes you look fat (strength competition people) I want a flat stomach (Lean/bodybuilder) is what I heard true or can I continue working my abs?

It's possible that the extra weight is from more clothes you are wearing? Have you been drinking a lot of water?

Did you start a new lifting routine within the last few weeks?

If you already have fat around your abs, yes they will make the fat stick out more and give you the "belly" look.
