Just wondering if any body knows of any natural ways to lower cholesterol. I have very hi cholesterol and I am on medication. I all ready watch my diet (the best I can) and lift weight 4-5 times a week and cardio about 3-4 times a week for 30 min. I am over weight but doing all I can to lose it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Good fats can lower cholesterol - I know you say you watch your diet, but do you include two portions of oily fish a week?

If it's canned tuna I think some of the good fat is removed (although I'm not 100% sure on this). If it's fresh then tuna is a good choice. Others would be salmon, mackerel, sardines

having done a search, I think canned tuna is still ok, but if anyone else knows otherwise, please jump in :)

Princess is right.
Eat plenty of fiber, especially water soluble fiber like oats and flaxmeal. Without fiber there is nothing to soak up the cholesterol.
Lots of green leafy veggies such as spinach and kale.
Soy competes with bad cholesterol and raises the blood level of good cholesterol.
Fresh garlic is also great, the sulfides decrease tendency for blood clots, and they lower levels of bad cholesterol(LDL).
Studies show that cranberry juice is very effective(3 glasses per day)...can raise your good cholesterol(HDL) by as much as 10%.
Think about supplementing with CO Q10.

Best natural ways to lower LDL and raise HDL:
Fiber
Unsaturated fats (Omegas, too)
Niacin
And lots of good old fashion exercise.
