is there, for example, a difference in the protein content between a cooked and a raw egg?
I mean, does cooking reduce the protein ammount??

Forget about the protein...raw eggs can kill you (salmonella)! Also, if you want to dispense with the cholesterol, eat more egg whites.

Also an other good reason why NOT eating raw eggs is that the body doesn't absorb the protein from the raw eggs as well as if you cook them....

You don't eat chicken raw, do you? When its cooked, the protein content is still very high. Very little protein is 'degraded'. Same with the egg. By cooking the egg, the human body will actually absorb more protein because our bodies have not adapted to eating raw eggs and meats.

there is always the small matter of samonella poisoning. Cook your eggs,or if you wish you could buy the containers of pastureized eggwhites. These you can put directly into your protein shakes with no problem.
