Hi, need some advice please.I'm 5ft 11in and 84kg age 32.Rapped in smoking 3 months since,started Weight training every other night for 1 hour over last couple of weeks and sit ups/crunches regular,trying to lose my gut and build my top half up a bit,wanting lean muscle gain.Ive cut out all sweets and takeaweays and eat quite a high protein but balanced diet,can anyong give any tips on what im doing and also i have gained 5 lb over the last 2 weeks,should i cut down on my food intake,also ive heard l-carnitine is good for what i am trying to achieve any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

first of all, to lose, you have to eat.

you have to eat 5-6 small balanced meals daly, every 3 hours. high in protein as yuo are doing.

dont forget to do cardio 4-5 sesions per week to achieve your goal.
