Good for you for going to the gym! Are you sure you are eating enough? I wonder if that could cause the carb fest thing.

Millenia..even though you are only 5'5, you still need to be eating every 2 - 4 hours, small meals that are evenly balanced. Since you started going to the gym, your carb cravings are probably your bodies way of telling you needs more food as FUEL, in order to support your increased activity. Just my thought.. :)

Millenia my 7 year old is only 3 ft tall, does that mean I should only feed her once a day? No, it doesn't. We all need to eat every 2-3 hours and you are no exception.

I would have terrible cravings (and put on weight in absolutely no time!) if I only had 2 meals a day as well! :surprised:
Sometimes it's hard to understand that if you want to reach your goal (put on muscle mass or lose fat) then you have to give the body the needed fuel to work with. You definitely need to eat more often!

A lean protein source and a good complex carb. Long lasting fuel and amino acids for the muscles.

Bread IS carbs. :) Post training is the very best moment to eat fast carbs (so if you still feel like eating something "bad" then do it there!)
What did you eat before training?
