5-6 smaller meals a day, Lots of food more than your burn in one day. Lift heavy and get lots of sleep and rest try to get 8 hours of sleep a night. This has been discussed many times on here before so you can do a search on fitbuddy at the bottom of the page. Good Luck.

i can't remember what article i was reading the other day (or where i read it), but it said that you really only need a couple hundred extra calories a day for a good mass gaining cycle... if only i could find that article fast... having just a ton of food works too, but i guess you'll end up with more extra fat that way...

only 500 extra calories more than your caloric needs to gain weight...

and snipura, you need proteins and carbs. not only take a shake. put on some peanut butter and oats, or fruit if you want to. a weight gainer will help you gain more weight if eating dont help.

Is 500 extra calories an exact formula or more of a starting point? So you could find your maintenance level and increase 500 and having you gaining amount?
