Everything will be different... calipers are probably the best, but, whatever method you choose, stick with it for consistence.... try www.mybodycomp.com

use the average of 2 or 3 if possible.

bathrrom kinds can be inaccurate, cause they are measuring the conductivity of your body. Water conducts electricty, muscle holds more water by volume than does, fat. However if you have a full bladder, or just drink 3 glasses of water, it will think thats "muscle" So don't get discourged. I fyou have loose skin, calipers can be off as well. measurements are and can be off for Higher than normal bone structure.

Stick to the same method. I use a Tanita, for the last 3 years and it work's. Like Anrew said, make sure the bladder is empty, and always do it at night. For any type of bf% measurement, measure yourself for 7 days and then take the average.

I bought a hand held omron, and I wish I hadn't bothered. The figure varies wildly (up to 4%) depending on how tightly I grip the thing, whether I've done a heavy legs split (BF% always goes up after this), how much cardio I've done, what phase the moon's in etc.
I can basically get an estimate of what my body water is doing, but little else.
I would stick to a tape measure and mybodycomp.com personally.
