Hey guys, I'm kinda new, but I really need some help burning off my abdominal and pectoral fat. I'm not weak by any means, but I'm not extremely muscular either. My daily exercise goes something as follows: I wake up and do 30 min. on the stationary bike followed by a 20 minute chest and ab workout, not too vigorous, just enough to make me feel good about myself. Then I eat breakfast about 30 minutes later. After that I go through my day, but I'm at school so I can only do three larger meals instead of five or six smaller ones. I usually play a little casual soccer or some ultimate frisbee during the day or just whatever sports there are going on on campus. My diet is mainly grains and fruits with some vegetables and lean protein when I need it. I can't add time to my gym time because I hvae to make it to classes, but I almost always go in the mornings. I need help guys, please.
eric.

First off you can not spot reduce fat.....keep up your cardio and mix it up from now and then(bike,running,walking....etc,etc). Also, diet is the key, if you do not have the time to eat try meal replacements. I use slim fast as a meal between my other meals.

One other thing, when you are working out your abs you are building muscle under fat. Ab workouts alone with out weights is like doing cardio and if you are looking to get a six pack, your body fat % should be in the the range of around 7% to 8% and you should also use weight resistance to get the "ripped look"

Thanks, I'm nowhere near 7 to 8 percent, and I'm not really looking for a six pack, but it would be nice to get rid of the soft part (fat). Thanks
