I find that quite often I do well on my training program, start feeling better and looking better and then someone will say something and just get unmotivated. I know there isn't a quick fix or really an answer but does anyone have any advice that would help me to be motivated.
I am 5'7 and about 160 pounds, I am not a BIG girl, but I am a bit 'chunky' as some people would say. I just wish I could wake up in the morning and feel motivated instead of depressed when I look at myself in the mirror.

Hi, I have the same problem as you, but so far so good. :o) What I did was I hung up a bathing suit on my wall to look at and that helps me stay motivated and focused on my goal. Also, I find it helps to just look at the good things because the more good you notice the more good you will continue to see - even more so if you keep up your Training!!! Best of luck!

ElizabethAbby motivation is a problem for most. You need to take that depression and turn it to motivation. If you don't like what you see in the mirror, and most of us don't, then say to yourself that you deserve better. Then get busy and fix it.

I have a print on the wall above my desk, it's a Howard Schatz, #5 from his Passion and Line series. I look at this beautiful example of the female form a hundred times a day and it inspires me to do and be much more than I ever thought.

When you are bothered enough, and care enough about yourself, you will stop crying and get moving. It really is that simple.
