I bought this quick quisine pasta that's low in carbohydrates and pretty high in Protein. I was just wondering, is this a good source of protein? Another question, on the non calorie cooking spray of mine, it says it has no calories, but it says it has 8 grams of protein. Doesn't that mean 34 calories? It does say that it's not a good source of protein though.

i am looking for the answer i dont want to be mistaken..
but if you want a quick answer..

protein on pasta not as complex as on meat,fish,tuna,chicken... but when you eat pasta i think you eat another source of protein too so you take all that it needs to become a complex protein....

for your spray, if the nutrition facts are not wrong: if should say 36 calories, then it is because it doesnt stick to food, so they dont count them...

Oh I see Kakaroto. Thanks for giving me a little information on the protein in pasta. Do you think I should eat a lot of this to get my recommended daily intake of protein, or should I just stick to tuna and chicken? I would still eat Tuna and Chicken, but can I use this as a protein supplier?

if i am not wrong, i cup pasta = 44 grams of carbs and 10 grams protein...
i think you need to add more protein with it...try tuna taste good...

you still need chicken,meat....
dont make make pasta your first protein source but yes you can have all you want as long as you dont exceed your caloric intake.

Kakaroto, this is quick quisine pasta. It's like a really low carb pasta. It's not the normal kind. It has lots more protein. about 13 grams of carbs, and 29 grams of protein per serving. (2oz.) and low fat
