I was wondering how long most of your training sessions take to complete. Doing my program off of this sight takes me about 25 to 35 minutes depending on which body parts I have to do. Some days they have me on only 3 or 4 different exercises but others they have 5 to 6. It doesn't seem like I am spending enough time lifting.

It usually takes me about an hour, no less than 45 minutes though. What program are you doing of FT?

I'm in the gym training for about an hour. Consider 30 min of cardio. I do 2 muscles every day,on a 5 day split.

The program I'm on, including the 12 week abs (gives me five ab exercises) takes me at least an hour to an hour and a half depending on what the kids are doing... (I work out at home)...

45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours depending on the day and if I do cardio. I do the cardio at least 4 to 6 hours after weights.

depends, on deadlift and squat days, close to 1 1/2 hour maybe 2. Part of this i scause of knee problems, and it take 2-4 sets just to warm my knees up, plus I go up to about 1000+lbs on leg press,so i have to chase 45s and junk.

chest, shoulders I can get done in an hour easy.

Does it take this much time because of the rest between sets? Following the exercises on the FT program I was recomended I have a hard time getting my session to last longer than 35min. Am I not resting long enough between my sets? About 30 to 45 sec between sets.

Depends if i'm lifting heavy sometimes i like to rest a little longer like a min. or longer. But to switch it up and shock the body i'll try to rest for about 30-45sec. usually under a minute. How many sets are you doing? Arm you warming up?

I am doing 4 sets of each exercise which is two exercises per muscle group and 2 to 3 muscle groups per session. I have to admit I don't do alot of warm up just a couple of reps of the exercise I am about to do.

Though 45 min. to 1 1/2 hr. is usually optimal or close to it, may vary. Instinctive training can be useful. Train long enough but not too long to meet your recovery threshold. It doesn't matter how long you train, if you cannot recover from it you are not helping yourself.
