I bought myself a 2.27 kg container of Whey Protein (GNC Pro Performance). It was on sale for $50 CDN ~ $38 US. It contains 21 g protein per 31 g serving...is this a good product?

Also, I had two questions: One, I would suspect that it wouldn't matter how much liquid you mixed the protein in, though companies seem to explicityly state a certain amount...why's that? And also, does mixing protein powders in advance (say, by a day, half a day) decrease nutritional content? (I would suppose that water would not. However, liquids containing lactic acid, citric acid may)

hey Mothergoose. It's best to mix your post workout shake with water for faster absorption. It's also fine to mix it ahead of time. I refrigerate mine when I do. Just shahe it up when you drink it. Welcome to FT.

GNC whey is fine.
