Ok, so I have reduced my calories, increased my protein intake to around 120 grams/day, increased water intake, increased cardio work for two weeks now. I got on the scale today and saw that I gained three pounds! What is going on? At 33, is it over for me? I am trying to look like you all. I am not a novice, but it seems that no matter what I try I cannot lose the weight. 5'6"/ 177lbs. Big tub of lard I am. Help!!

Lawnguy, you're probably doing fine. You have put on some muscle which is heavier than fat. Stay the coarse. Remember you need 1 to 1,5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight.

Plus when you change things up it takes some time for your body to trust that it isn't a fluke.

Increased fitness also means increased blood volume, which weighs some...

Go by how you feel and look and give it a few months!

It's never over!!!!!

Watch the inches and clothing sizes, especially the waist size. Don't worry about the scale so much.
