Creatine needs to be taken (and cycled) for at least 3 or 4 weeks before cycling off. This ensures that your body is making full use of the creatine while you are on a heavy workout regimen. I would advise taking it on your off days at about the same time as you would on your workout days.

i was reading that u don't even need to cycle off creatine...how it's been proven 'safe'...don't know how credible it is...read it in flex i think or maybe men's health...i forget...I usually just take around 5...with apple juice...no sideeffects ro anything

Some people choose not to cycle off, they simply reload again after 8 weeks or so.

k thanks...what type of routine should i have on taking creatine?? like i just started my loading phase on monday and i am planning to stop doing it today...which will be 5 days of loading and now i will start tkain 10 grams a day ....but for how long do i do this

You really only need 5 gr. per day, but 5 gr. before and 5 gr. after is ok if you want to.
