what is the point in them, they are pointless. you can hardley eat any of it, the seeds are too big and hard and they dont even taste nice. i fiqured that because they were so crappy they must be really good for you in some way. if you know of any good points they have then please post it. and also what sort of food/meal could you possibly make out of it?

It's a fruit from the mediteranian. Usually wine is made from them after being squeezed, but they are very high in "C".
And limke you said, nothing but a pain to eat, you have to kind of suck the red stuff off the seed! Your right a total waist. Unless you like the wine.

They now have pomegranite juice. It's pretty tasty, but expensive.
