Can't decide whether i should go out to a party this weekend, if i do i will end up drinking a few beers 2-3, i haven't been out since i moved here to san diego and think that i deserve a night out, but i don't want to end feeling guilty about it. should i just forget about how it's going to deter me from reaching my goals and enjoy a night out? Really whats one night right.....:) Oh well just looking for some thoughts, much appreciated:big_smile:

well, it just depends on how you look at it... if you wake up in the gutter, you'll know you've put your goals that much further from you... but then again, you shouldn't really get so involved with your goals so that they'll change your private/personal life to the point where all you do is chase your goals... everyone needs a break... it helps us (re)gain perpective...

I say go for it and enjoy yourself.

You are obviously dedicated, and I've no doubt you'll get right back on track.

You have said yourself in another post that you think you are stressed and this might be just what you need.

Have a good time :)

At 22 , your capacity to suffer is great. I say have no fun, don't go out. Have a protein shake and some cottage cheese. Put in a pilates tape and read your Arnold book.

You are funny. You say you are gonna do it, and then start figuring out ways to not enjoy it as much.
Have a decent beer, the lower calorie ones can't compare with Sam Adams Cream Stout. If you are gonna dot, do it right.

Just remember to drink a jug of water and take some b-complex and protein before you hit the sack.
