Ok, I am trying to lose fat. I have been working out, doing cardio, and eat pretty well, clean foods, no butter or oil, lots of chicken and veggies etc. BUT I do have a tradition every Halloween... My husband and I buy halloween candy a week early (little tiny chocolate bars: aero, kitkat, coffeecrisp, caramilk etc.) and we eat them every day. I usually have 2 to 4 EVERY DAY (they're really small)for the week before Halloween. Bad I know...
Is this going to affect my progress very much, or even at all, as long as I keep up with my workouts and cardio and eat well the rest of the time? If I lose weight this week will it be muscle, or still fat?
I can stop I guess, but it's just a sinful tradition in our house. (plus my b-day is this week, so i kind of justify it that way) And after Halloween, if there are left overs, we get rid of them.....
What do you think?

Well, any time you take in a chocolate bar, even if they are small, they're not the best calories... it's okay to have a treat every now and again, but maybe you should cut down on the amount you have... instead of two to four, try one or two... four of those is about one whole chocolate bar... and ya, I believe it will affect your progress even if you keep up with your routine...

I guess you have to ask yourself what's important and what your goals are.

I'm not saying to stop eating them (goodness knows I'll have a couple!) but just be aware of how many you have!

Yah, I really did know that I guess- and I don't want to interfere with my goals. :(
So if I cut down to 1 a day this week (just this week!), if I stay within my calorie intake, will this still affect my progress? Should I just cut it out altogether? (I know I SHOULD, but is it absolutely necessary?) It doesn't really matter if I have to, it's not like I need them, it's just a fun time of year for me.

I knew you knew that...! haha

You can't deprive yourself of a treat now and again... it's mentally challenging to completely give it up and see it around... if you know you're gonna have one, it's okay... it gives you something to look forward to...

I don't believe one or two will matter in the long run, but that totally up to you. None is better than one, physically, but mentally... I'd say go ahead!
