what if you cant run in the mornings or the evenings because of the neightboorhood that you live in? that is my main concern...my safety

Could you afford a gym membership? It would be probably the safest thing to do. You could run on the tredmills. What are you goals by the way?

Run with a dumbell in your hand! On a serious note, try some indoor skipping or the gym like DX14AG suggested. What about a bike? Weather permitting.

buy a cardio machine.... if you can afford it.
if not suscribe a gym.

you could always bboy! all the equipment required is a boombox (or a beatboxer if one is available) and some surface area... you could always throw in a few battles every time you hit a plateau or something... holla back!
