Hey everyone, im 16 years old and i just really want to gain some muscle, i am reasonably strong but i dont have the muscle to back it up. i know i am quite young for a site like this, but who cares, i want to gain muscle and this seems like the right place to help me. i'd appreciate any help i can get. Thanks

Welcome, cozbo! Age doesn't matter as much as attitude and motivation! You are here because you need good information and you have come to the right place! If there is a subject in particular you are interested in learning more about, try using the FitBuddy search at the bottom of the page, there are many great threads already there, too! Otherwise, post away!

Biggest thing you can do for yourself is check your eating habits and the amount of calories you are sustaining on to feed your energy needs, next the amount and type of exercises it takes to get you where you want to be. Building muscle will take some weight lifting, that doesn't mean just throwing some weight on and lifting until you get bored, that means some constructive goals, check out the available exercises you have for your personal exercise program here on FT!
