I was wondering what I should do as far as training to just maintain what I havc, should I use a slightly lighter weight and higher reps? I need to take a week or two off from heavy lifting but I don't want to loose what I have gained so far. Also I was wondering what I should be doing on my rest days? Do I do nothing and just rest or should I do cardio, or lift lighter? Thanks

If you just want to maintain you have to reach your maintenance calorie intake and continue to lifty heavy. What are you rep ranges right now?...Lifting lighter with higher reps will actually cause you to loose a little muscle. Try a pyrimid with 12/10/8 reps, that way your not lifting extremely heavy or a 12/10/10 i just wouldn't go above 12 reps. On your rest days just rest and let those muscles grow remeber they don't grow in the gym, keep your protein high. You should incorporate both weight training and cardio. depends on how much cardio you want to do i would suggest giving yourself a day or 2 a week to rest completely. Good Luck
