Supplements can be a great aid with your health and fitness goals. Combined with the proper exercise and nutritional plan they can be quite effective.

Ok the amount of creatine is 5.25g. To answer your question on how it made me feel, sorry to everyone who has already heard me whine..LOL..It was awful, my stomach hurt so bad, it made me shaky...I was gassy ( sorry ). Uggg it was awful..I had one scoop with some cranberry juice and I have been afraid to try it again.

I wanted to ask you guys if you think Cell Tech is better than creatine monohydrate for gaining the most muscle mass?

Just to let people know who don't already, I am a 6ft tall 135lb female, who is athletic and strong but not really muscular. I want to get into bodybuilding and I am having the hardest time getting help on how to get started. My body is skinny, I mean besides my boobs and butt LOL...I think I can gain muscle pretty easy, i mean i have been lifting a little weight and i see toning.
Thanks for any help you can give me!:)

at your weight you need 1 teaspoon pure 100% only. did you take more?
you see the stuff might be micronised and the only reason that word is hyped up into its sales pitch is because the stuff is nearly impossible for you to absorb into your system without terrible troubles, gasses, stomach pain. Micronisation isn't enough but it's the best you can do. Most of that one teaspoon is not absorbed only a tiny fraction- that fraction is plenty so take just a little spoon a day- then if happy take a second dose like one morning and one evening..
normally speaking after loading(if you believe in loading) 2 teaspoons is for 90 kilo plus guys.

i tried cell tech and it also made my stomach hurt. i dont know if it was the creatine itself, or the amount of water they say you should consume during and immediately after.

in anycase, i used the GNC brand effervecent (sp?) creatine and had much better results.

try taking one gram...2x a day
then 2 grams 2 x day
then 3 grams 2 x aday

slowly work your way into it, might be taken way too much, only side effect I get is dry mouth somtimes. Try drinking it with different things. Protein shakes, in yougert, tea, gatoraid, limonade.

Peta, you said you were relatively new to lifting. It's much more important to get your diet and exercise routine perfected before you worry about supplements. Supplements play a relatively small part in the scheme of what you really have to do to have a great body.

Creatine aint magic. To determine if it is indeed the cause of your gastric problems, buy a small supply of micronized creatine with the creapure stamp. Take it as directed with water only, no juices, no malto, no nothing. Just water. Be sure you increase your water intake throughout the day. That will help you determine if creatine is the cause of your ailments. Chances are you won't have a problem if you do this.

it's important to follow all the instructions on the lable and read and understand the extra tips you can in places like FT. Good luck.

It's beyond me why someone would take creatine if just starting out.
Eat good food and you will be pleased!

I hadn't realized you were just starting out. If this is the case, then I totally agree with the above posts. Maximise your diet and lifting first. If you take creatine too soon, how will you ever know if it even works?

As Charlie says, supplements do not play the role that the companies that hype them would have you believe. 95% of what we accomplish is through proper nutrition and work ethic.
