Hi, I'm new here. I have 3 kinds of arthritis, including fibromyalgia. Does anyone here have arthritis? What kinds of exercises do you find you are able to do? Any tips on keeping going? Thanks for a great site.

Can't give you much advice on exercising with arthritis except if it hurts or causes you pain don't do it. Have you tried looking at supplements. There's a few out there for joints, don't know what help they would be. Anyway, all the best.

I have a best friend and met others when I managed a Curves a few years back and we had a program for individuals with arthritis and fibromyalgia that allowed you to use the Curves program at a slower pace, the group really enjoyed their time together and their exercise. I would suggest talking to your doctor first no matter what you decide to do and a good doctor should even have exercises you can do. My friend has had both ankle replacements, hip replacement twice and can hardly move her wrists or turn her head and she enjoyed the program. With fibromyalgia and arthritis exercise can often help with the stiffness and fatigue.

Good luck!
