I need to buy some new equipment. Such as a new bench and new plates. Anyone have any ideas as to where to shop.(stores or internet)
Here is a cool bench that i saw and think it would fit my needs pretty good.

I usually don't buy things off the internet because shipping is killer.. that bench is cool because of the built in rack/pracher curl/decline.. but thats just by looking at it.. not sure how it would compare vs other quality benches... Anyway shipping on it is free but did you notice that the shipping on the 300lb weight set is $101... ouch.. i'm betting you could probably get a 300lb olympic weight set for less than $260 in town (cost + shipping).. look around at fitness places like dicks sporting goods.. maybe a local mall or.. well anywhere that might sell weights... a lot of places (at least around here) usually won't carry a bench like that though.. so you'd probably have to get it online if you had your heart set on it...

Yeah i think I will have to get the bench online and yes shipping is a killer for weights. I am going to look in town this week but the big state of MONTANA doesnt have much to offer.
Yeah I also like all the different things on the bench too. Sometimes you just find something and it sticks to you.

I have no idea how the quality is and what brands I should be looking for

I have no idea.. I have a weider bench and I hate it.. rickty thing... but then again its pretty old and served its purpose well.. hasn't fallen over yet.. I'll probably be looking into something better soon too.. only thing I would say is avoid any bench that has the stupid extensions for doing lying flyes.. mine were such crap and got in the way when I benched... I'm not sure what anyone else thinks but I took mine off and never looked at them again...

I have an old crappy wieder bench too( the ones where you can't put to much weight on the bench, like 110 LBS. And yes the stupid flyes on the side of it get in the way. It is definatley time to junk mine.

Sportmart has a 300 lb Olympic barbell set, it was well under $200, from what I can recall. So if you have a Sportmart and a long vehicle (for the bar length) then you could try there.

My friend got a cool bench with weights and the whole deal for a pretty good price from Copelands. I think it was like 500$ for a nice weider bench and a 300lb set of olympic weights. I THINK that was the price. It might've been cheaper.

yeah to bad I have no time to go in to town which is 45 minutes one way. I have school, I participate in sports and write for my school paper. Sorry but this is the only choice I have.
