I usually start lifting between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
Dinner is around 6:30 PM.
Should I be eating something else before my workout beside dinner. Dinner is healthy, Chicken, Fish or steak with plenty of veggies. I don't have lack of energy at that time. Just wondering if I will get added benefits from it.
After the workout I have a protein shake and a yogart and some fruit. It's usually around 10:30- 11:00 PM and I don't want to eat when I'm gona be hitting the sack within the hour. Thnks for any input. Michael

yes, form 6.30 to 10-11 there is too much time.
try to eat something more before your workout in order to reduce this intervalle. you should be eating every 2-3 hours max for muscle building.

Two hours is maybe a little too long to be leaving your body without fuel before your work-out. If you could start lifting a little earlier, maybe an hour or hour and a half after you eat would be more on the mark. Also add in some good carbs to your dinner, fuel for the work-out, like wholemeal rice/pasta, or some potatoes. Hope you find a schedule that works.

If you can, do the workout BEFORE dinner. If you're comming from work, have a protein shake with some fruit. Then lift. Then have your dinner. That would be my suggestion.
