What are some not so expensive supplements that a I should take. I'm 16 years old I weigh 150 pounds and I've been working out for 3 years now. My goal is to gain muscle and get cut. Thanks for your help.

Rancid - at your age you don't need anything other than to work out with a good schedule and eat everything healthy that don't bite back to gain the muscle. Worry about getting cut after you've got the size you want.

Chicken breast, lean beef, milk, cottage cheese, whole-wheat pasta, brown and wild rice, potatoes, gallons upon gallons of water, and a good multivitamin/multimineral. That's what you need to be supplementing your body with for now. Eat like a madman and train like a caged gorilla and don't worry about spending $$$ on supplements just yet. You'll see results once you become disiplined to a specific high-calorie/high-protein diet and an intense training routine. This may take a year or two, but be patient. Then, you can start 'dabbling' with supplements.

I find it hard to get my protein throughout the day. Just not enough hours. So I do take some whey protein 1 or 2 times a day. So i would suggest starting with some whey and nothing else. All the other supplements can mess with our developing bodies.
