Give calorieking.com a try they list all the nutritional info on a ton of fast food chains. I know last year living on campus with no way to cook eating right was more than difficult just gotta make the best of the situation, I can't imagine lugging all that food with you andrew props for that i always just took a MRP bar which i think didn't do me much good except put my mind at ease.

these seem pretty reasonable to me, if I have to eat it. How is a sald not healthy? Better than not eating at all? is it not?

A salad is healthy as long as it isnt drenched in dressing.

salad is probably going to be pretty low in calories. I know when i would eat a protein bar i used to get the meathead look all the time, to be a BB you really have to not care what people think because i get crap all the time.

Nobody bothers me about what I eat because they know that I get results. In fact atleast 5 people have asked if they can start working out with me. I got one guy eating cottage cheese.

How did you get them to eat cottage heese Hec, I have been buying it for years and my wife still won't go near it!

And watch out for the low fat BS. Sugar is put in instead, so what is the point. Go with something that is safe, like something naturally low, or avoid it. Subway is about the best in my opinion but still way high in the bad carbs and sodium dept.

I get a pile of protien from tuna and cottage cheese... major staples in my diet... people give me the funny look too... especially when I tell them what's in my tuna... tuna, onion, mustard, little bit of miracle whip (nowhere near as much as I used to use), and oatmeal... can't even taste the oatmeal, but, it sure helps fill ya up!

Depending how picky you are about your diet it can be considered unhealthy - virtually all fast food comes loaded with preservatives, sodium, and artificial flavors, colors, and smells.

Look as a studen you can't be picky and taste and smell were last on my list. When i was in school i just faced the fact that i wasn't going to be able to eat 100% clean but you do the best you can, just do the best you can andrew, keep taking stuff with you to class and eat the best you can find.

Doesn't have to be high in calories to be unhealthy for you. There's a chapter in the book fast food nation about the incredible degree of chemically engineered artifical additives in fast food, good read. They're classified as "GRAS" - generally regarded as safe. Heh.

Including "natural flavours" which are produced in a lab and are alowed to be called natural becaause of being produced from a mould or fungus. :)

The fact that lots of "blue" coloring, like blueberry yogurt, is really just mushed up bugs from south america was very appetizing.

Read the book DX! You will have an education of a different kind! I have changed alot of my eating habits over the last few years, but after reading the book, there was room for improvement.

hey everyone....i'm on here 4 the first time & I was reading some of what you all said & I think you are all correct. I just have 1 question for anyone who can/will answer me....I am in school all the time when I come home I am starving. How do I keep myself from stuffing my face like a descusting pig?....everyone says eat in the morning, but it makes me sick, & when I eat lunch I have to eat so fast that it never even digests in my system. So, if anyone eats or drinks anything that supresses their apetite...please let me know....*THANKX A LOT!

1547A, I loathed breakfast, got physically ill eating it right away in the morning but after viewing the facts and researching here on FT and other areas, I found that people that have the most energy, are the most healthy seem to do just that, breakfast! So, I started slow and with just a bit of food, something that didn't gag me and then added to that bit by bit until now I am a breakfast eater!! I actually am now hungry instead of ill in the a.m. and by eating every few hours, I have found it helps me from stuffing my face because I waited so long or skipped meals and was famished. I also learned as a young'in to count to 20 whenever I took a bite, I don't count now of course, but I am always the last one done eating because of that internal counting I suppose, try that. Point is, you have to experiment with what works for you, don't try one thing and give up when it doesn't suit you, keep plugging away!

The list look good if you absolutely have to eat at one of those places. In a lot of cases, you do, and this list would help a lot. However, I do not recommend mashed potatoes.

For me Subway often helps me in a crisis. Tuna, Turkey Club, Double Turkey, Chicken Teriyaki, all on wheat bread are healthy options.

better check the tuna at subway - not as healthy as you think - If you get a salad at subway, that is pretty healthy. research on calorieking.com to find things at fast food places that are not as bad as you think - more choices

my fall back fast food is usually chili. It's typically one of the lowest calorie, most nutritious thing on the menu..pretty yummy as well.
