For the last couple of weeks I have been doing reps as fallows, 3 x 12,10,8 or 3 x 10,8,6 for a lot of my excercises and I was just wandering something. When I start say bench with 200 pounds for 12 reps, I will also do 200 pounds on my 10 and 8 reps, all to failure. My body just seems to fatigue right along with with rep range. Is this bad? Should I be moving up weight each set?

Yes, moving the weight up is the principle behind a pyramid system. Sounds like you are lifting to heavy off the bat. You should do about 60% of your max on the first set. You shouldn't fatigue really at all. Then up it, and up it again. Ft has a warm up set that they give, whereas you are just doing it cold. Try adding 14,12,10,8.

Practice does NOT make perfect. Perfect practice does.

If you never move the weight up and contintue to do each set with the same weight you can never grow....

If you reach the point of being able to get the 12 reps then increase the weight then yes, you can make gains. What I said was what sweeny wrote, that he has not increased the weights at all for the last few weeks....not that he could not gain size.
