I started to go to the Gym four weeks ago (5 days a week) and i'm working out a different group of muscles every day (sometimes more than one). The thing is im thin (120 lbs. 5'7) and i do like 20 min of cardio activity before the weight lifting every time (running, bike, etc) Does that make it harder to have a good muscle definition? I don't wanna get really big or anything just to have a well toned body.....

Have you had your body fat composition checked (in other words, do you know what your body fat % is??)

Well if you saved your energy that you use to do the cardio for the weights then you would have faster results.....
Stick to around 10 mins of slowly warm up cardio before the weight training and do your cardio after.
Finally, you have to EAT a lot more to put on muscles..... Check FT's nutrition.

Alex, sounds like you're being counterproductive with your routine. I think that you'll have to gain some mass first. Then, you can decide to tone and define. The cardio before weight lifting defeats this purpose.
However, if you don't want to accumulate any muscle mass at all, then heavy cardio and light lifting will help shape your current physique. You won't add any more definition until you add some mass though.
Good luck!

Alex, I agree with rpacheco. Your routine has some inconsistencies in it. First, most of the bodybuilding pros I know never do cardio first. They do it after weight training. Second, hit the weights a little harder. Remember that muscle is metabolically "expensive". In other words, muscle requires more calories to support than fat does. When you carry more lean mass, your body is a more efficient "fat burning" machine. At 5'7" and 120, you're rail thin. But on a little mass, then bump up the cardio. And drink plenty of water.
