The other day my waist was 30inches and now its 31inches, what's up with that? I thought i'd lost an inch and now its back. I am due to start my period soon, could this be the reason why my belly has gotten bigger?

I binged tonight because i was depressed about it, plus i hadn't eaten chocolate or anything nice for about 2 months. Not a happy bunny plus i have flu :(

It goes up and down, mine does too. COuld be anything from yes periods, to water retention more so, or the stocmach not being completly emptied when you measured.

Don't be depressed, I was too when I got my BW scale , said I was 25% lol, then one day 22%, all i watch is the "area its in", that sis if its betwen 22-25 that abotu average for me, cause the water in my body changes alot, which is how its measured.

Same way with inches, somtimes, i'm 39, some days 40...some days 38 3/4......thats my range I knwo long a smy waist stays aorund and no bigger than 40 or so, i'm maintaining. Duno if this makes you feel beter, but don't stress.

a week before my period I gain & hold water - try checking again two days after your period & see where it is - mine is usually back where it should be(or were it was before hand)
