Hi! I am here to shed about 40 pounds, already lost 40 since my baby was born on Sept. 4th 2004...I am now 173lbs..my goal is 130, I am 5'3. I went from a size 18 after my baby and now I am a 12, My goal is a size 6 by Spring..I just started the FT...seems like the workouts designed for me and all the rest days won't help me much, are the rest days important? Today is my rest day, and I feel like I am missing out on doing something for this body of mine. I am 38 years old and have a newborn and a 16 and 13 year old, back when I had my first children, I lost 110 pounds by working out every day, no weight training,no treadmill or bike, just Slim Fast and aerobics every day, and walking everyday as well. I know my age is against me now..hope I am not too old to get the look I want...I don't have stretch marks, and my skin still seems tight, but more cellulite than I have ever had in the past...that needs to go, any advise?? I was thin then but I wasn't strong or defined really. Will these workouts make me look stronger and more defined? I am hoping by spring of 2005????Is this possible?

You do not need to post the same question three times.

jajewel, yes, the rest days are important and you need to follow your program. These programs were designed by professionals who really know what is best.
Your success will depend entirely on your dedication and hard work. No, you probably can't have the look of a 19 year old, but then why would you want to? It sounds like you gained way too much weight with your pregnancy and under the best of circumstances it takes a year for your body to recover. Work hard, eat very clean, learn all you can here, follow your program and be patient. If you do all of those things you will find you get really great results.
Good luck and welcome to FT!

Gained 50 pounds with pregnancy this time, but wasn't where I wanted to be prior to pregnancy, so now that I am done having babies, I want to look the best I can for the rest of my life. Thanks so much for your input.
