My name is J. I am 30, father of 1, and a graphic designer. In highschool I did some lifting and was moderatly active until I got into graphic design. The desk job has really taken a stab at me! I am 6'11" 238lbs. I have a pretty good handle on bulking up but my goal now is to kill the fat. I am not really looking to get bigger as I am happy with my size, I just want to lose the fat as it has settled in my abs and face/neck. I started on the 29th with a new nutritional regime and I have a full set of freeweights, treadmill, and a maxed out bowflex at my disposal. With all this in mind, any advice, words of encouragement, etc.. would be welcomed. Thanks
J

Welcome to FT! It sounds like you are off to a great start. You may want to spend some time on the Nutrition board, there is a ton of great information there. Good luck reaching your goals. Oh! Don't forget to fill out your profile.

Thanks I will check that out. I just filled out my profile and I will post some pics later. I have been researching for some time now knowing I wanted to get back into the swing of things but I wanted to eat better this time and not just powerlift till exhaustion! I settled on this site because being a computer oriented person, the databases and charts really help me out. I spent some time reading the boards too and everyone seems very helpful.
