By weight training and exercise can you ever get an equally as fast metabolism as people with naturally fast metabolisms who can eat whatever they want without gaining weight?

Sorry, if that were the case we could all be Jerry Rice or J-lo. Nothing beats good genes.

Charlie is right....Your metabolic set point is controlled by your genes, and it can be influenced by exercise and nutrition.

So you can never just eat what you want without gaining weight? And every time you have McDonalds you're going to gain weight.
What about a person with a slow metabolism could they ever get a toned body through exercise and diet or is there just no hope? lol.

A "trained" person will be able to get rid of the waste products in the food without hanging on to the bad fats etc, but definately can't make a habit of it.
T0 answer your second question, yes you can get a toned body through exercise and diet. That is what this board is all about.
